Three including two women killed as speeding truck hits motorcycle

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Three members of a family, including two women were killed on Saturday when a speeding truck hit their motorcycle near Langar Wala Bridge in Sahiwal tehsil, police said.

According to police sources,the victims were identified as Kaniz Bibi(50),her son Kamran(20) and daughter-in-law Umme Kalsoom, residents of Gujranwala village in Shahpur tehsil.

Police said a recklessly driven Mazda truck collided with the motorcycle,resulting in the immediate death of all three riders due to severe injuries.

The truck driver fled the scene after the incident, abandoning the vehicle.

Sahiwal police reached the spot, impounded the truck and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities.

Further investigation was underway.
