Three FC men martyred as terrorists attack ambulance

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Feb, 2026) An ambulance transporting injured FC personnel came under heavy fire from terrorists in Karak district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the martyrdom of three officials.

According to police on Monday, the incident occurred in Bahadur Khel area, within the jurisdiction of Khurram Muhammad Zai Police Station, near Dargah Shaheedan.

Earlier, militants carried out a quadcopter drone attack on an FC fort, injuring five personnel.

District Police Officer (DPO) Saud Khan stated that the injured officials were being shifted to hospital when terrorists launched another attack on the ambulances en route.

The assailants opened fire and set the ambulances ablaze while the wounded personnel were inside. As a result, three FC personnel were martyred.

The attackers also targeted Rescue 1122 staff during the assault. The remaining injured were shifted to Khalifa Gul Nawaz Hospital in Bannu for medical treatment.

Security forces have launched a search operation in the area to nab the perpetrators behind the cowardice act.
