Three drug peddlers held in separate raids

LODHRAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 4th Jul, 2026) Police arrested three alleged drug peddlers during separate raids across Lodhran on Saturday and recovered over 12 kilograms of hashish.

According to a police spokesperson,City Police teams conducted raids and apprehended Hayat Rajpoot and Muhammad Asif.

During the operation,1,460 grams of hashish was recovered from Rajpoot while 540 grams were seized from Asif.

In a separate raid led by SHO City Police Dunyapur Naeem-ur-Rehman Meo,police arrested another suspect,Saleem Dogar and recovered 10.

56 kilograms of hashish allegedly concealed in a bag.

Police said separate cases have been registered against all three suspects, and further investigations was underway.

District Police Officer (DPO) Capt (R),Ali Bin Tariq said anti-narcotics operations would continue across the district without discrimination.

He added that protecting youth from drugs and ensuring public safety remained top priorities and that strict action would be taken against those involved in drug trafficking.
