MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) A three-day training session for prosecutors and investigation officers will begin on February 19 at the auditorium of the City Police Office (CPO) Multan.
The programme is being organized by the Public Prosecution Department Punjab to enhance professional capacity and strengthen the rule of law.
District Public Prosecutor Multan Imtiaz Rasool Cheema said the initiative has been launched on the directives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to ensure effective delivery of justice to the public.
He said prosecutors, along with police officers investigating murder, rape and narcotics cases, will participate in the session. Senior legal experts will deliver lectures, while Abdul Wadood, Prosecution In-charge of the Lahore High Court, will also attend.
The workshop will continue from February 19 to 21 from 2pm to 4pm.
