Thousands celebrate victory of Marka e Haq, pay tribute to armed forces

MULTAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) A large “Marka-e-Haq and Bunyan-un-Marsoos” rally was organised at the Multan Press Club under the banner of Pakistan Kissan Ittehad and civil society organisations to express solidarity with Pakistan, national security institutions, and the armed forces.

The event aimed to promote the message of national unity, peace, stability, and unwavering support for the country’s defense institutions. A large number of citizens, farmers’ representatives, youth, social activists, women, and members of civil society from different walks of life participated enthusiastically in the event.

The program featured national songs, patriotic speeches, and other special presentations highlighting the sacrifices and achievements of Pakistan’s armed forces.

Addressing the participants, City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar said the armed forces demonstrated exceptional professionalism and delivered a strong response to India. He claimed that Pakistan successfully neutralized enemy radar systems and proved its defense capabilities before the world.

Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan Kissan Ittehad Chairman Khalid Mahmood Khokhar said Pakistan’s defense was in strong hands and the country remained fully capable in both border security and food security. He praised the unity shown by the nation during challenging times and said the people stood firmly together against external threats.

He also paid tribute to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his leadership, stating that Pakistan had strengthened its global standing through determination and strategic vision.

Among others present at the rally were former MNA Abdul Ghaffar Dogar, Ex MNA Sheikh Tariq Rasheed, former provincial minister Dr Akhtar Malik, MPA Maqsooda Bibi and thousands of supporters who raised patriotic slogans throughout the gathering. A significant number of women also attended the rally to show their support for national unity and solidarity.
