Ten injured in stray dog attacks at poultry and vegetable markets

KOHAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) At least ten people were injured when stray dogs allegedly attacked traders and shoppers at the poultry and

vegetable markets in Kohat on Wednesday.

The eyewitnesses said that several dogs suddenly entered the crowded

markets and began attacking people, causing panic and a stampede-like

situation.

The victims sustained bite injuries and were rushed to

nearby hospitals for medical treatment.

The residents expressed concern over the growing number of stray

dogs in the city and urged the municipal authorities to take immediate

measures to prevent such incidents.
