Tehsildar seriously injured in Nowshera attack

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) In district Nowshera, Tehsildar Abid was seriously injured after unidentified assailants opened fire on his vehicle on Wednesday.

According to police report, unknown attackers targeted the official’s car of Tehsildar Abid, leaving him critically wounded.

He was immediately shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital for emergency medical treatment.

Following the incident, police and law enforcement agencies cordoned off the area and launched an investigation.

Police have not yet identified the attackers and the motive behind the attack remains unknown.
