Teenager killed in firing over domestic dispute in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Jun, 2026) A 15-year-old boy was shot dead while his elder brother narrowly escaped after armed attackers opened fire on them over a domestic dispute here in the Kattakhel area, the police said on Sunday.

According to the FIR registered at Shaheed Nawab Police Station, complainant Naimatullah, son of Sakhi Marjan and a resident of Kattakhel, stated that he and his 15-year-old brother, Inayatullah, were present near Peru Morr on the Kattakhel–Rahmani Khel road when the accused — Aslam Khan son of Nawaz and his two sons namely Munawar Khan and Imdad Ullah, residents of Kattakhel — allegedly opened indiscriminate fire on them.

Naimatullah remained unharmed, while Inayatullah sustained critical bullet injuries. He was being shifted to the Civil Hospital

in Panyala, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.

The complainant told police that the motive behind the attack was an ongoing domestic dispute between the two families.

Police have registered a case against the accused and started further investigation.
