Teenager boy crushed to death in road mishap

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jul, 2026) A teenage boy was killed on Sunday in a fatal road accident after falling off a motorcycle and getting crushed under a brick-loaded tractor-trolley near Yazman.

According to Rescue 1122, the incident occurred when two brothers riding a motorcycle attempted to overtake the commercial vehicle while carrying a heavy water container. During the overtaking maneuver, the younger brother, who was riding pillion, lost his balance due to the weight of the water container and fell directly onto the main road.

Rescue officials stated that the rear tyre of the moving tractor-trolley ran over the boy's head, causing a fatal open head injury that resulted death on spot.

The victim’s elder brother, who was operating the motorcycle,escaped the accident unharmed.

Police personnel reached the spot shortly after receiving the emergency alert and secured the perimeter for initial data collection.

The Rescue 1122 emergency team subsequently shifted the body of the deceased to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital, Yazman, for the completion of necessary medico-legal formalities before handing it over to the heirs.
