Teenage girl critically Injured in suspected suicide attempt in Attock

ATTOCK, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) A 16-year-old girl was critically injured after an alleged suicide attempt in the Mohalla Awan Sharif area of Attock city, near a police post.

According to rescue officials, the girl reportedly shot herself in the head under unclear circumstances.

Rescue 1122 teams reached the scene and provided initial medical assistance before shifting her to the District Headquarters Hospital Attock.

Hospital sources said her condition remains critical.

Police have initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident.
