Teams formed to control cheating in examination centers of Balochistan: Younis Lehri

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) Personal Secretary of the Controller Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE), Muhammad Younis Lehri on Friday said that special teams have been formed to prevent cheating in the examination centers and provide a conducive environment to the students.

He said this while talking to Bureau Chief Quetta of Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) Nazar Muhammad called on him at his office.

Detailed discussions were held regarding the arrangements, transparency and discipline of the ongoing matriculation examinations during the meeting.

In the meeting, Muhammad Younis Lehri said that comprehensive steps have been taken by the Balochistan Board to ensure the peaceful, transparent and orderly conduct of the ongoing matriculation examinations.

He said that special teams have been formed to prevent cheating in the examination centers and provide a conducive environment to the students. Effectively monitor the examination process so that the examination system can be run completely in accordance with the principles of merit and transparency, he said.

He further said that as per the instructions of the Controller Balochistan Board, all the staff is performing their responsibilities in an efficient manner and the convenience, security and timely examination process of the students are being ensured during the examinations.

He said that the board is trying to adopt a modern and systematic method in conducting examinations so that students would not face any kind of difficulty. On this occasion, Bureau Chief Nazar Muhammad appreciated the steps taken by the Balochistan Board for the transparent conduct of examinations.

He said that the organized conduct of examinations is of great importance in promoting a positive and quality educational environment. He said that the media would continue to play its effective role in providing accurate information to the public in a timely manner and highlighting the positive performance of the education sector.

During the meeting, it was also resolved that positive contacts between institutions and the media would be further promoted for the improvement of the education system, transparent examination process and bright future of students so that merit, transparency and timely examination arrangements can be ensured.
