Tank' DC for quality healthcare services to people

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Feb, 2026) Deputy Commissioner Tank Tanvir Khan has underlined the need for taking concrete steps to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to people.

He was chairing a meeting of the health department here to review the public health situation and ongoing campaigns in the district.

The meeting was attended by the additional deputy commissioner, senior officials of health department, heads of various line departments, core members of the DEOC, and representatives of ISD/DFCA Aga Khan University.

During the meeting, a detailed review was conducted of staff attendance, the availability of medicines and essential medical equipment, and the functionality of delivery rooms at basic and rural health centers.

The DC instructed to ensure the provision of quality healthcare services to the people during both special health campaigns and routine service delivery.

Deputy Commissioner Tanvir Khan added that all available resources must be utilized to provide better medical facilities to the citizens and directed that any shortages in health centers be addressed immediately.

He made it clear that negligence or lapses in service delivery would not be tolerated.

The meeting concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment to further strengthen and streamline the district’s healthcare system through a coordinated strategy.
