Talks in Islamabad are an honor for Pakistan: Tahir Ashrafi

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Apr, 2026) Pakistan Ulema Council Chairman Hafiz Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi has said that the talks in Islamabad are an honor for Pakistan, the leadership played an important role.

In his message, issued here on Monday, he said that firstly, there was a ceasefire and then organised talks were held, the results are in the hands of Allah, while the work of man is to try.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that the door to talks in Islamabad has been opened and this process will continue, the people should be grateful and continue to pray for better results.

Ashrafi said that the date of the World Message of islam Conference has been changed to April 20, and scholars from different countries including Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Turkey will participate in the conference.
