ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 12th Jun, 2026) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarian Tahira Aurangzeb said on Friday that the budget was not completely perfect while the country remained under the International Monetary Fund (IMF) program; however, the government under Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership has presented a more people-friendly and balanced budget.
In Parliament during the budget session, while speaking exclusively to ptv, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) parliamentarian Tahira Aurangzeb said that the budget reflects a more people-friendly and balanced approach under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
She praised Muhammad Aurangzeb Minister of Finance, Ishaq Dar deputy prime minister and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for their efforts in difficult economic circumstances, saying that such measures, even under challenging conditions, were aimed at providing relief to the common man.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>Tahira Aurangzeb also lauded the initiatives taken by the Federal government as well as the governments of Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab, stating that their policies were focused on public welfare and improving services for ordinary citizens.
She further said that coordinated efforts by all governments were necessary to ease the burden on the public and ensure economic stability in the country.
Concluding her remarks, she said that where there is relief provided to the electricity consumers, gas users, and the salaried class, it gives hope that the budget is moving in a better direction and reflects a more people-friendly approach.
