SWCCI holds annual general meeting:

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 22nd Apr, 2026) The Sargodha Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SWCCI) on Wednesday held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) to deliberate on promoting business activities, enhancing women's economic empowerment, and outlining future development projects.

The meeting reviewed the chamber's performance over the past year and formulated a comprehensive strategy for the upcoming period.

During the meeting, new members were formally introduced, with the leadership commending their professional backgrounds and business potential. Participants emphasized that the inclusion of new members would strengthen the institution and create more opportunities for women entrepreneurs in the district.

The forum also focused on fostering networking and mutual cooperation while discussing the challenges faced by women in the business field.

The participants vowed to make the SWCCI platform more active to equip women with modern business requirements.

Later,special prayers were offered for the departed souls of late Professor Dr. Kausar Raees and the late Professor(retd)Dr. Haroon Rasheed, with attendees praying for high ranks in Jannah and patience for their families.

The meeting was attended by Founding President Shamim Aftab, Acting President Sumaira Hareera, Founding Senior Vice President Sadia Khan, Founding Vice President Tanzila Riaz, Founding Executive Member Dr. Humaira Azhar, and executive members Qaisara Ismail, Shazia Arshad, and Muneeza Anwar Goendi, who reaffirmed their commitment to the chamber's progress and women's welfare.
