Suspect arrested after firing incident over land dispute in Daska

SIALKOT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Several people were injured after a firing incident due to a land dispute that occurred near Bharokay Kalan bridge in the limits of City Daska.

According to police officials, a clash broke out between two groups and during the altercation, a suspect identified as Ali Hassan allegedly opened fire, injuring multiple individuals before fleeing the scene.

Upon receiving information, District Police Officer (DPO) Captain (Rtd.) Dost Muhammad took immediate notice and directed swift action. Following his orders, DSP Daska and SHO City Daska, along with a heavy police contingent, reached the spot promptly.

The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where those with minor injuries were treated and later discharged after first aid.

Police registered a case after arresting a suspect and initiate legal proceedings.
