Suspect arrested after alleged harassment of 11-Year-old patient

RAWALPINDI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Police have arrested a suspect accused of sexually harassing an 11-year-old girl who was under treatment at a hospital, police spokesperson said on Wednesday.

According to the complainant, the accused, employed as a sanitation worker at the hospital, allegedly behaved indecently with her daughter during her stay at the medical facility.

Acting swiftly, Waris Khan Police utilized technical and human intelligence resources to trace and apprehend the suspect.

Police official stated that the accused will be challaned with solid evidence and presented before the court.

SP Rawal Saad Arshad said that harassment or abuse of women and children is intolerable, adding that strict legal action will be ensured against those involved in such crimes.
