Summer vacations extended in non-formal educational institutions till 30th

LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) The Punjab Literacy and Non-Formal education Department has extended the summer vacations of non-formal educational institutions across the province until June 30.

According to the decision issued by the department, educational activities will now resume from July 1.

According to the authorities, the decision to extend the holidays has been taken keeping in mind the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram and the weather conditions.

Earlier, the summer vacations were announced until June 15, however, under the new instructions, the duration of the holidays has been further extended.

It should be noted that more than 16,000 non-formal schools are operating under the Department of Literacy and Non-Formal Education across Punjab.
