Sukkur IBA Holds Solidarity Rally for Pakistan Armed Forces

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Mar, 2026) Sukkur IBA University organized a Solidarity Rally to express unity and unwavering support for Pakistan’s Armed Forces following a recent attack on the country. The event reflected the university community’s commitment to national integrity, sovereignty, and peace.

The rally began at Zero Point and concluded at Academic Block 3, led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, joined by Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans, department heads, directors, faculty, staff, and a large number of students. Participants marched despite heat and fasting during Ramadan, demonstrating patriotism and dedication here on Monday.

Addressing the crowd, Prof. Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh stated that Sukkur IBA’s academic community stands united with Pakistan’s armed forces, paying tribute to their courage, professionalism, and swift response to aggression.

He emphasized that Pakistan is dearer to its citizens than life itself and that everyone serves the nation through their professional roles.

He noted that while forces protect borders, Sukkur IBA remains committed to providing quality education and nurturing future leaders. He condemned attacks on innocent civilians, stressing that truth and justice prevail, and highlighted the importance of peace, restraint, and mutual respect, especially during Ramadan.

The university also expressed sorrow over the reported martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Supreme Leader of Iran, extending condolences to Iran’s government and people.

The rally concluded with Pakistan Zindabad slogans and prayers for the country’s safety, stability and prosperity.
