Sugarcane-laden Trolley catches fire in DI Khan

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) A trolley loaded with sugarcane caught fire here in the Daraban Khurd area, creating panic and posing a serious threat to nearby surroundings.

According to Rescue 1122 spokesman, the emergency control room received information that a sugarcane-laden trolley had suddenly erupted in flames. The fire risked spreading rapidly due to the highly flammable load.

A firefighting team was immediately dispatched to the scene with a fire vehicle and arrived within minutes. Upon reaching the site, rescuers launched a coordinated operation and bring the fire under control.

Due to the timely response, approximately 80 percent of the sugarcane and the trolley’s overall structure were successfully saved, while the remaining burning portion was completely extinguished. No casualties were reported in the incident, and the area was declared fully safe after the completion of the operation.
