Strict surveillance of drone sale and purchase business starts

PESHAWAR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) The authorities concerned have tightened monitoring of businesses involved in the sale and purchase of drones across the province and the process of verifying buyers has begun.

According to official sources on Monday, law enforcement agencies have launched investigations into the sale and use of drones.

Security around sensitive installations has also been further strengthened as part of the precautionary measures.

Sources said that information is also being collected about individuals who sell and purchase drones online. Surveillance of drone trading centers in various cities has been intensified and operations have been initiated in certain areas.

Officials stated that the main objective of this action is to prevent the illegal use of drone technology or any activity that could pose a threat to security.
