According to the details, the incident occurred after a dispute between the staffer and an attendant accompanying a child patient, which escalated into a verbal clash.

The hospital administration took immediate notice of the situation and initiated an inquiry into the matter.

Dr Ikramullah Niazi while talking to APP said that strict action had been taken to ensure discipline within the hospital.

He added that no misconduct or inappropriate behaviour with patients or their attendants would be tolerated.

He said the staff member involved in the incident had been terminated from service following the clash.

The MS further said that ensuring respectful treatment of patients and their families remained a top priority of the hospital administration.

Meanwhile, he directed all staff to adhere to professional conduct and warned that violations would be dealt with strictly.

On the other hand, police were also called on the spot and initiated investigation into the matter.
