ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) VVIP Security Captain (R) Syed Zeeshan Haider chaired an important meeting in the Security Division to review arrangements for security, route duties and VVIP movement ahead of the arrival of foreign cricket teams in the Federal capital.
An official told APP on Tuesday that representatives from Islamabad Police, Punjab Police, Frontier Constabulary and other relevant institutions attended the meeting.
The official said that detailed discussions were held regarding strengthening security arrangements, improving coordination among departments and ensuring effective route management for the visiting teams.

SSP Zeeshan directed all concerned departments to ensure foolproof security arrangements and maintain close coordination to avoid any lapse during the movement and stay of foreign teams.
He emphasized that Islamabad Police remained fully committed to ensuring a secure environment for international sports activities in the federal capital.
