SSP Shaheed Benazirabad visits Jam Datar Police Station to review security arrangements for Youm-e-Ali

NAWABSHAH, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) SSP Shaheed Benazirabad, Sameer Noor Channa, visited the jurisdiction of Jam Datar Police Station to review security arrangements for a traditional and historic mourning procession. During the visit, SSP inspected the security measures in place and met with police officers and personnel deployed on duty. He reviewed the overall situation and emphasized that no compromise should be made on security arrangements. He directed officers to ensure strict monitoring of all entry and exit points.

SSP instructed that all security personnel remain on high alert and continue performing their duties until the mourning procession and gatherings conclude peacefully at their designated locations.

The concerned SHO and other police officers were directed to remain in continuous contact with the procession organizers and stay prepared to respond promptly to any untoward incident. SSP said that protection of citizens’ lives and property and maintaining religious harmony are the top priorities of the police. He also appreciated the dedication and morale of the police personnel deployed for the security of the procession and advised them to perform their duties with a strong sense of responsibility.
