SSP East Zubair Nazir Shaikh reviews security arrangements on 8th of Muharram-ul-Haram

KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Senior Superintendent of Police - East Karachi Zubair Nazir Shaikh on Wednesday conducted a detailed visit to Imam Bargahs, Majalis, and procession routes and reviewed the security arrangements on the occasion of the 8th of Muharram al-Haram.

On this occasion, SSP East Zubair Nazir Shaikh conducted a detailed inspection of Numaish Chowrangi, M.A. Jinnah Road, Shahrah-e-Quaideen, and adjoining areas, said a spokesperson of Police district East.

The SSP East reviewed the security measures, personnel deployment, and surveillance arrangements put in place to ensure the safety of participants in the processions and Majalis.

He issued directives to the concerned SDPOs and SHOs to ensure the effective implementation of the security plan, remain vigilant, and utilize all available resources to protect the lives and property of the public.

The SSP East reiterated the resolve that the East Police will take all possible measures to maintain law and order and provide a secure environment for the mourners during Muharram al-Haram.
