SSP directs all officers to ensure immediate arrest of listed criminals, absconders

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th May, 2026) An important crime and traffic meeting was held at the police headquarters under the chairmanship of SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar.

The meeting was attended by all DSPs of Hyderabad district, operations and traffic, SHOs, SOs and in-charges of various branches of the SSP office

During the meeting, the SSP issued instructions to all officers to ensure the immediate arrest of listed criminals and absconding accused.

He especially stressed on making the ongoing crackdown against social evils, especially ice (drugs), more stringent and effective.

The SSP directed the task force to continue its operations more effectively and take indiscriminate action against criminal elements.

The meeting expressed some satisfaction over the overall crime control situation, however, effective and continuous patrolling was deemed essential to further reduce crimes to the lowest level.

In the meeting, the traffic police were instructed to maintain smooth traffic flow and check tinted glasses, wrong way and illegal parking.

All DSPs Traffic were instructed to visit all major commercial sites in their respective areas and compel their owners to arrange single parking through their staff, otherwise the government will file cases against them.

SSP Hyderabad reiterated the resolve that the safety of life and property of citizens will be ensured at all costs and all resources will be utilized to eradicate crime.
