SSP chaired meeting reviews progress in rape, murder case probe

HYDERABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Mar, 2026) The SSP Jamshoro district Zafar Siddiq Changa convened a meeting at his office in Jamshoro district on Tuesday to review progress made in the investigation of brutal rape and murder case of Sanbreen Pathan.

In-charge Women Complaint Cell Syeda Qurat-ul-Ain Shah, DSP Shahnawaz Jokhio and other concerned officials attended the meeting and briefed the SSP about the case status.

The SSP said the culprits who savagedly raped and murdered Pathan, whose dead body was found near Khosa village on February 9, some days after she went missing, would be brought to the book.

The meeting offered legal help to Pathan's family with advocate Daniyal Sehto of Legal Aid Society offering his voluntary services to the aggrieved family.

So far 8 accused persons had been rounded up in connection with the case including Noor Khan alias Nooro, Rano, Jani, Ali Nawaz, Asghar, Gul Sher, Dadu alias Dadan and Wazir, all Khoso by caste.
