Sports Minister congratulates Haram Rehan for setting world record

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Mar, 2026) Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar on Saturday congratulated athlete Haram Rehan for setting a world record by performing 143 strikes with one leg in one minute.

The minister said Haram’s achievement is a shining example for young athletes, particularly girls, noting that she broke the record of an Indian player and won widespread recognition from the international sports community. He added that the Punjab government will continue to support talented sportsmen and women, and described Haram’s dedication and hard work as an inspiration for the younger generation.

Faisal Khokhar further said that athletes like Haram are a valuable asset for the country and expressed hope that she will continue to excel and win more laurels for Pakistan in the future.
