Sports dept to organize Ramazan Night Sports Festival from 28th

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) The District Sports Department, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Husnain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, is set to organize a Ramazan Night Sports Festival starting from February 28 at the local Sports Gymnasium.

The District Sports Officer Saima Manzoor while talking to APP said that the festival would feature various competitions including futsal, karate, taekwondo, and badminton championships where athletes from across the district could participate.

She highlighted that sports served as an essential medium for positive youth engagement and played a pivotal role in the formation of a healthy society.

Saima Manzoor further appreciated the special interest and patronage of Deputy Commissioner Husnain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, noting that the initiative aimed to provide a dedicated platform for young people to showcase their professional skills during the holy month.
