SP reviews operations against drug traffickers and proclaimed offenders

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2026) A high-level crime meeting was held on Saturday under the chairmanship of SP Investigation Imran Chadhar, attended by all DSPs and Station House Officers (SHOs) of the City District.

The meeting focused on reviewing the ongoing efforts against drug traffickers,the arrest of proclaimed offenders(PO's) and the overall law and order situation in the region.

SP Imran Chadhar stressed the need for strict enforcement of the zero-tolerance policy against those involved in drug trafficking and other criminal activities.

He directed officers to intensify actions against anti-social elements and instructed the formation of special teams to target listed offenders and individuals engaged in serious crimes.

In addition,the SP emphasized enhancing public safety by making patrolling and checkpoints more effective.

He also encouraged officers to improve community policing,ensure courteous behavior towards citizens and respond quickly to public complaints.

The meeting further discussed measures to improve police performance,tackle current challenges and work towards lasting peace in the area.

SP Imran further said that the complete elimination of criminal elements remains the police's top priority and warned that any negligence in this regard would not be tolerated.
