SP Investigation reviews security arrangements for Jor Mela at Panja Sahib

HASSANABDAL, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jun, 2026) SP Investigation Attock Zainab Ayub visited Gurdwara Sri Panja Sahib in Hassanabdal on Saturday to review security arrangements made for the annual Jor Mela 2026 and the visiting Sikh pilgrims.

During the visit, she inspected security checkpoints, deployment plans and other arrangements put in place to ensure the safety of pilgrims attending the religious event.

According to police officials, the review was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to maintain law and order and provide a secure environment for local and foreign Sikh devotees participating in the celebrations.

Ms Ayub also met police personnel deployed at the site and directed them to perform their duties with professionalism, vigilance and a strong sense of responsibility.

She stressed the need to ensure a peaceful and secure atmosphere for the pilgrims and instructed officers to remain alert throughout the event.
