QUETTA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhel on Thursday said that there is a close connection between social reforms and networking, human history is a witness that social reforms have played a significant role in advancing education, health, fundamental rights, empowerment, gender equality and social justice.

He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Balochistan Reforms Social Network at Governor House Quetta. The delegation was led by Chairman Balochistan Reforms Social Network Syed Saleem Raza Advocate.

Members of Balochistan Reforms Social Network Haji Ishaq Mengal, Dr. Farhat Hussain, Faiza Sikandar, Dr. Amna Soomro, Faria Batool, Shakira Ali, Sehrish Kashif, Dr. Huma Zafar, Fatima Khan, Firdous, Naheed Karim, Maleeha Hussain, Suraya Jan, Hamida Noorani, Imran Khan, Noorani, Huma, Rizwana, Anwar Ali Khamisani and Sarmad Ali Advocate were also present on the occasion.

Speaking to the participants, the Governor said that however, reforms are often mobilized and sustained through social networks consisting of intellectuals, community leaders, civil society, media centers and ordinary citizens saying that these networks facilitate the exchange of ideas, mobilize public opinion, create critical awareness and accelerate collective efforts for change.

He said that effective social reform networks actually promote academic dialogue and citizen participation, which help societies address long-standing challenges and adapt to changing realities.

He said that at the same time, successful reforms require strong institutions, public trust and a shared commitment to the common good saying that ot is important that every individual in society plays a positive role in social reforms and social betterment, in this regard, the social and welfare activities of Balochistan Reforms Social Network are commendable.

Governor Mandokhel said that women are the main pillar of any society and the dream of development cannot be realized in shame by ignoring them.

The delegation informed the Governor of Balochistan about the various social, welfare, educational and women's development activities of Balochistan Reforms and invited him to inaugurate the expo.
