Six suspects arrested in murder case in Dera

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th May, 2026) The district police have arrested six suspects allegedly involved in a murder case during a targeted operation carried out in the Kulachi area, police said on Wednesday.

According to the police spokesman, the operation was conducted on the instructions of District Police Officer(DPO) Ziauddin Ahmed under the supervision of SP Saddar Division Asif Mahmood and the leadership of DSP Kulachi Saghir Shah Gilani. SHO Kulachi Asghar Wazir led the successful raid.

The arrested suspects were identified as Khaisor Khan, Ghulam Akbar, Moeenuddin , Muhammad Usman, Iftikhar, and Muhammad Ehsan .

Police said all suspects belong to the Sheri Khel tribe and are residents of Loni.

The suspects have been taken into custody and further investigation into the case is underway.

DSP Kulachi Saghir Shah Gilani said that operations against criminal elements would continue without discrimination to maintain law and order in the region.
