LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Under the Sindh Secondary Education Scholarship Program (SSESP), the scholarship entry test for the Larkana region on Monday was successfully conducted, with a total of 1,365 candidates from five districts participating. The test was supervised by SEF’s Director of Planning and Programs Nisar Bambhan, Regional Director of Larkana Region Dilshad Ahmed Pirzado, and other officials.
740 candidates appeared from Larkana and Qambar districts, while 313 from Shikarpur, 125 from Kashmore, and 187 from Jacobabad participated.To facilitate the exam, specific centers were established in different districts: Cadet College Larkana in Larkana, Public school Shikarpur in Shikarpur, PSP School Kashmore in Kashmore, and Government High School Adam Khan Panhwar in Jacobabad.
SEF administration stated that all centers conducted the exams according to the prescribed rules and procedures. To ensure a transparent and organized process, blocks, invigilators, supervisors, and chief supervisors were effectively assigned, which helped the entire examination proceed peacefully and in an orderly manner.
On this occasion, SEF Managing Director Ghanwar Ali Laghari said that the aim of the Sindh Secondary Education Scholarship Program is to provide talented and deserving students with access to quality education. He stated that through a transparent and merit-based testing system, students are being selected who can play a key role in the future development of society.
He further added that the Sindh Education Foundation is continuously taking steps to promote education across the province and provide better educational opportunities for students, and through this program, hundreds of students will gain access to quality educational institutions.
Meanwhile, students, parents, and educational circles expressed their special gratitude to Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah and Sindh Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah, whose support has made this scholarship program possible, providing hundreds of deserving students the opportunity to receive quality education.
