KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Mar, 2026) Sindh Home Department on Sunday extended the ban on all kind of wall chalking, protests, demonstrations, sit-ins, rallies and display of arms throughout the Sindh Province for further period of one month with effect from 1st March.
According to an order, 'The ban imposed under Section 144 (6) Cr.P.C. on all kind of wall chalking, protests, demonstrations, sit-ins, rallies, display of Arms throughout the Sindh Province is hereby extended for a further period of one (01) month with effect from 1st March, 2026.'
The guards of registered Private Security Companies are allowed to carry weapon at places of duty during duty hours, however display or brandishing of weapon by them is not allowed during movement in vehicles and weapons shall be kept inside the vehicles.
Moreover, the guards shall not display their weapons while patrolling or performing duty in open spaces. They shall make sure that there is no unwarranted display of weapons that may create a sense of insecurity among the general public.
The SHOs of concerned Police Station are authorized to register complaints under Section 188 PPC in writing for the violation of Section 144 Cr.P.C against the violators, the order added.
