Shazia Rizwan emphasizes quality education

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2026) Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Culture, Punjab, Shazia Rizwan, said that quality education forms the foundation of a developed society and the Punjab government is striving to improve educational institutions and ensure a transparent examination system.

She expressed these views while addressing the annual examination results ceremony of 'The Great School of Scholars', where she attended as chief guest and distributed certificates and shields among position-holding students.

She said students are a nation’s most valuable asset and the country’s progress is linked with their bright future. Hard work, dedication and discipline are the keys to success, she added, noting that students who performed exceptionally serve as role models for others.

The parliamentary secretary appreciated the efforts of parents and teachers, stating that educators play a fundamental role in the academic and moral development of children.

She said the Government of Punjab is taking practical steps to promote education, modernize curricula in line with contemporary requirements and improve educational facilities to ensure equal access to quality education for every child.

She further remarked that positive transformation in the education sector can only be achieved through cooperation between public and private institutions.

On the occasion, the school administration welcomed the chief guest and presented the institution’s annual performance report. A large number of students, teachers and parents attended the ceremony, while outstanding students received shields and certificates amid applause from participants.
