ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th May, 2026) Member of National Assembly (MNA) and senior Pakistan Peoples Party leader Sharmila Faruqui on Saturday felicitated the nation on completing one year of Operation Bunyan al-Marsoos, saying it marked Pakistan’s collective resolve and diplomatic victory that shuttered India’s misleading propaganda, exposed its fabricated claims and restored Pakistan’s standing on the global stage.
In an exclusive conversation with a local media outlet on the occasion, Sharmila Faruqui said that the success of Operation “Bunyan al-Marsoos” was the result of a collective national effort led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, President Asif Ali Zardari and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, whose coordinated leadership effectively shuttered India’s narrative and exposed its misleading propaganda against Pakistan on the international stage.
She stated that this unified political and institutional response not only countered hostile allegations but also firmly reasserted Pakistan’s position with clarity and strength.
The MNA added that India’s repeated attempts to malign Pakistan were decisively rebutted through diplomatic engagement and strategic communication, restoring balance in global perception.

Responding a query, she highlighted diplomatic efforts, she particularly commended Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for presenting Pakistan’s narrative on international platforms and promoting a message of peace and dialogue.
She noted that his engagement with global leadership helped project Pakistan’s youth-driven, forward-looking image while strengthening diplomatic outreach.
She further acknowledged the efforts of Ishaq Dar, stating that despite injury, he remained actively engaged in strengthening Pakistan’s diplomatic front.
According to her, his continued contribution during a difficult period reflected commitment and responsibility toward national interest.
She concluded her remarks with a strong and critical stance towards India, saying its continued pattern of allegations and narrative manipulation against Pakistan had been effectively dismantled through unified diplomatic and institutional response.
