Sharjeel Memon urges unity, renewed resolve on Pakistan Day

KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 23rd Mar, 2026) Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon on Monday extended heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Pakistan Day, urging unity and renewed commitment to national progress.

In his message, he said the day marked a historic milestone when Muhammad Ali Jinnah and other visionary leaders laid the foundation of a separate, independent and sovereign homeland for Muslims.

He observed that Pakistan was the result of immense sacrifices rendered by the forefathers for the establishment of a free and democratic state.

Sharjeel Memon said the nation should remember the martyrs who laid down their lives for the country’s freedom, sovereignty and security, adding that Pakistan Day provided an opportunity to renew the spirit of service, national unity and sacrifice.

He emphasised the need to face challenges with collective resolve, stressing that a strong, stable and prosperous Pakistan required rising above differences and demonstrating unity.

The minister said it was the responsibility of every citizen to contribute towards the country’s development and prosperity in line with the principles and vision of Quaid-e-Azam.
