Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur Celebrates Marka-e-Haq, Bunyan-ul-Marsos with Grandeur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th May, 2026) The Faculty of education at Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur on Wednesday organized a vibrant celebration of “Marka-e-Haq – Bunyan-ul-Marsos” today at the Multipurpose Hall of the faculty.

The event highlighted the spirit of Faith, Piety, and Struggle in the name of Allah, paying tribute to the resilience and sacrifices that define the nation’s history and values.

The ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, Patron-in-Chief, as the Chief Guest. The event brought together faculty members, students, and distinguished guests to commemorate the sacred values of unity, devotion, and steadfastness.

A highlight of the program was the cake-cutting ceremony, symbolizing sweetness and shared joy in the spirit of national and religious pride.

Professor Dr. Yousuf Khushk, along with senior faculty members, led the cake-cutting amid cheers and applause from the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof.

Dr. Liaqat Ali Chandio, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, emphasized the importance of such celebrations in nurturing moral and patriotic values among the new generation. Dr. Firdous Bugti, Incharge Chairperson of the Department of Teacher Education, and Dr. Zahid Hussain Sahito, Incharge Chairman of the Department of Special Education, also addressed the gathering and highlighted the role of educational institutions in promoting the ideology of Pakistan and Islamic principles.

The program featured inspiring speeches, national songs, and a special documentary presentation reflecting the themes of Marka-e-Haq. Students from the Faculty of Education presented colorful performances that captivated the audience. The event was organized under the patronage of the university administration with support from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) and other partner institutions.

The ceremony concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the values of faith, piety, and national solidarity.
