Seven-member motorcycle theft gang busted in Attock, 38 stolen bikes recovered

ATTOCK, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Apr, 2026) The Crime Control Department (CCD) Attock has busted a seven-member inter-district gang involved in motorcycle theft and drug trafficking, recovering 38 stolen motorcycles, weapons, and tampering equipment.

According to APP correspondent, the operation followed an encounter on April 20 near Shakardara Mor and Baryar Mor. Suspects opened indiscriminate fire on a police team during checking.

In the exchange, three suspects were arrested in an injured condition, including the gang’s ringleader, Fahad Mehmood alias “Seto”.

Four accomplices were later apprehended in follow-up raids. Police recovered two 30-bore pistols and tools used for tampering with motorcycles from the accused.

Officials said the suspects have prior criminal records and are involved in multiple cases of robbery, motorcycle theft, and drug peddling. The recovered motorcycles have been handed over to their rightful owners.
