Session on 'From Identity to Responsibility' held at BNBW university

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Feb, 2026) Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Thursday addressed students at an awareness session titled From Identity to Responsibility held at Begum Nusrat Bhutto Women University, Sukkur. The event aimed to promote self awareness and social responsibility among female students.

In his address, Commissioner Abid Saleem Qureshi emphasized that identity is not merely a documentation status but a responsibility that connects individuals to society. He urged students to recognize their potential and play an active role in the nation’s development by benefiting from modern education.

He highlighted that educated women can play a pivotal role in nation building and should strive to excel in every field.

The Commissioner further stated that awareness and education are essential for women to overcome contemporary challenges. He shared valuable advice on tackling practical life issues and encouraged students to prepare themselves for future responsibilities.

The event was attended by Deputy Registrar Abdul Salam Chandio, faculty members, and a large number of students. At the conclusion, Commissioner Sukkur responded to students’ questions and appreciated their intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm.
