Session on empowering women entrepreneurs thru safe & inclusive workplace

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), in collaboration with the Federal Ombudsperson Secretariat for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace (FOSPAH), organized an awareness session titled “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs through a Safe and Inclusive Workplace.”

Fauzia Viqar, Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment of Women at the Workplace, attended the session as the chief guest and highlighted the importance of ensuring a safe and respectful working environment for women across all sectors.

President RCCI Usman Shaukat welcomed the guest and underscored the significance of effective mechanisms to address workplace harassment, emphasizing that a secure and inclusive environment is essential for the growth and empowerment of women entrepreneurs and professionals.

Senior Vice President Khalid Farooq Qazi, Vice President Fahad Barlas, former president Jalil Ahmed Malik, members of the executive committee and RCCI members attended the session.
