Service Morr Flyover inaugurated in Gujrat

GUJRAT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Provincial Minister for Industries and Commerce Chaudhry Shafay Hussain inaugurated the Service Morr Flyover along with Deputy Commissioner Noor-ul-Ain Qureshi and a Chinese delegation.

According to official details, the approved cost of the project is Rs 2,463.582 million. The one-kilometre-long project includes a 2,294-foot flyover, an 860-foot retaining wall and a 1,000-foot approach road.

Speaking on the occasion, the provincial minister said the flyover would be equipped with streetlights within the next two to three weeks.

He said work was also under way to improve the sewerage system in Gujrat, while funds had been released for the Small Industrial Estate project.

He further said a treatment plant was being installed for disposal of waste from the ceramics industry, adding that renovation work on the Small Industry building was also in progress.

The minister said steps were being taken to resolve public issues and improve the industrial sector to further promote development in the district.
