LARKANA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Mar, 2026) An Iftar party was arranged by Nisar Sheikh, the Regional Chairman of the All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro-Electric Workers' Union SEPCO, here at a local hotel.

The event was largely attended by the Central President of the WAPDA Hydro Union Pakistan, Abdul Latif Nizamani; the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of SEPCO, Ijaz Ahmed Channa; and the Special Assistant to the Sindh Chief Minister, Khair Muhammad Sheikh, along with senior SEPCO officers, members of the Chamber of Commerce, businessmen, journalists, and other dignitaries of the city.

Addressing the gathering, CEO SEPCO Ijaz Ahmed Channa said that out of the total losses of 591 billion rupees incurred by the country's power companies, SEPCO's share was 67 billion rupees. Through hard work, under the direction of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Minister and Secretary of Energy, this has been reduced to 46.6 billion rupees.

He stated that the recovery rate has also increased from 62.4% to 82.8%, with a monthly increase of 20.4%, which is a welcome development.
