SEPCO Cheif takes legal action on 11 kv feeder triping, suspended SDO and Four L.S

LARKANA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Taking serious notice of illegal tripping on several 11 KV feeders in Larkana, SEPCO Cheif Executive Officer Ijaz Ahmed Channa and board of Directors Chairman Ghulam Mustafa Laghari have suspended one SDO and four line superintendents, while cases have also been registered against several private technicians on Wednesday.

In this regard, SEPCO Larkana Superintendent Engineer Shah Muhammad Bajkani, in a special conversation with APP, and stated that illegal interference in the power system will not be tolerated under any circumstances, and strict legal action against such elements will continue. He said that consumers faced difficulties due to illegal tripping on some 11 KV feeders, following which disciplinary action was taken against the responsible officers and staff.

Shah Muhammad Bajkani further said that power transmission on 90% of feeders in SEPCO Larkana Circle is proceeding as normal, however, tripping issues arose on a few feeders due to technical and illegal interference, and measures to resolve these have been accelerated. He stated that no employee or private technician involved in negligence or system interference will be shown leniency.

He appealed to consumers to identify elements involved in illegal interference with the power system so that electricity supply can be further improved and stabilized.
