Senator Sherry Rehman pays tribute to security forces for eliminating 54 terrorists

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jul, 2026) Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman has paid rich tribute to the professionalism, courage, and unwavering commitment of Pakistan's security forces for successfully eliminating 54 terrorists during operations in Balochistan.

In a statement issued here, she said the sacrifices of the 27 police personnel, 11 Pakistan Army soldiers, and 4 civilians who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty have made the entire nation proud and will always be remembered with the highest respect.

Senator Sherry Rehman stated that the entire nation stands like an iron wall alongside its brave security forces and law enforcement agencies in the fight against terrorism, while expressing heartfelt solidarity with the families of the martyrs and affirming that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

She reiterated that operations against terrorism will continue with full determination, resolve, and perseverance until the last terrorist is eliminated, adding that every conspiracy against Pakistan's peace, stability, and national security will be defeated with unwavering national resolve.
