Senator Sherry Rehman grieves over heli crash near Muzaffarabad

ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Vice President of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Senator Sherry Rehman, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the Pakistan Army MI-17 helicopter crash near Muzaffarabad.

Senator Sherry Rehman offered prayers for the forgiveness and eternal peace of the martyrs who lost their lives in the tragic incident. She also prayed for the elevation of their ranks and extended her heartfelt condolences to their families.

“The entire nation salutes the immense sacrifices of our brave soldiers.

Those who lay down their lives in the service of the homeland are our heroes, and their courage and dedication will always be remembered,” she said.

Senator Sherry Rehman stated that the nation stands united with the families of the martyrs during this difficult time and shares in their grief. She prayed that Allah Almighty grants the departed souls the highest place in Jannah and gives strength and patience to their loved ones.
