Seminar, walk against human smuggling

GUJRAT, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2026) An awareness seminar and walk against human smuggling were organised at Zamindar College Gujrat, by Assistant Commissioner (AC) Abdul Qadeer Zarkoon. Students and their parents took part in the event.

The seminar taught participants about the dangers of illegal migration, possible legal penalties, and the importance of using legal ways to travel abroad.

Speakers said human smuggling is risky for life, property, and the future of those involved.

AC Zarkoon told students to follow only legal procedures for going abroad and to avoid suspicious agents. The walk was organized to raise public awareness about the dangers of human smuggling.
