Seminar Highlights Islam as Religion of Peace

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Mar, 2026) Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Medical University (SMBBMU) organized a seminar on “Islam: A Religion of Peace” at Chandka Medical College.

Abdul Wahab Mangrio emphasized islam's core principles of forgiveness, tolerance, and respect for human rights. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Nusrat Shah stressed the importance of implementing Islamic teachings in daily life, while Principal Professor Dr. Shahid Hussain Soomro highlighted Islam's promotion of love, harmony, and resolving conflicts through dialogue. The seminar was attended by faculty members and students.
