Security Tightened for Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Mar, 2026) The district administration, police, and Rangers have decided to provide foolproof security across the district for the upcoming Youm-e-Shahadat of Hazrat Ali (R.A).

A meeting was held at Sachal Sarmast Hall, Deputy Commissioner's Khairpur Office, under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Altaf Ahmed Chachar on Friday.

The meeting emphasized maintaining law and order, strengthening coordination among institutions, and taking action against individuals spreading hate on social media. The administration assured representatives of different schools of thought that all arrangements would be completed in time.

SSP Dr. Sameeullah Soomro stated that the police will implement effective security measures under a comprehensive contingency plan. Citizens, religious leaders, and community representatives were appealed to cooperate with the district administration and police to maintain peace and promote religious tolerance.

The meeting was attended by officials from various departments, including ADC-II Abdul Hakeem Dharejo, DHO, ADHO Dr. Shahid Khaskheli, and representatives of different schools of thought.
